The Special responsibility Allowance is paid for my role as leader of the Liberal Democrat Group
The travelling expenses related to London tube fares for myself and another councillor while attending a 2-day conference in London on Pensions (I am Vice Chair of the County Council Pension Fund Committee).
The subsistence expenses relate to my overnight (2 nights) accommodation expenses in London for the same conference together with an evening meal for myself and the other councillor concerned (it was simpler on the day to charge it all to the one account at the hotel).
